Safeglass® is an innovative material that mimics glass but will not cause damage if broken.
Safeglass® was developed because real glass complicates access to emergency equipment and causes damage. In addition, glass that has been broken accidentally or maliciously causes shards that can be dangerous when picked up or cleaned. It was designed to replace real ‘break glass’ in applications such as fire alarms, key boxes, hammer boxes and emergency equipment.
Safeglass helps improve breakable glass systems by ensuring that the ‘glass’ can be broken with minimal risk of injury.
