Technical description

The round red copper braid is a high-performance flexible conductor made of twisted copper cable. It is mainly used to provide an electrical connection between two elements of a power circuit while absorbing mechanical stresses (vibrations, movements, expansion).

Characteristics

• Conductive material: red copper Cu-ETP (UNI EN 13602), wire Ø 0.20 mm.
• Structure: twisted bare copper cable.
• Cross-section: 150 mm².
• Length: 1100 mm.
• Ends: tinned copper tube cable lugs.
• Insulation: black heat-shrinkable sheath on joints.

Variations

• Rigid conductor cross-sections: 10 mm² → 185 mm²
• Flexible conductor cross-sections: 22 mm² to 185 mm²
• Different drilling diameters: 3/8, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 3/4, etc.
